Random Group Generator!

Collaboration, collaboration, collaboration!    Many of us group students together for activities or lessons and using the Random Group Generator is a great way to group students quickly and efficiently!  Here is a quick Youtube video demonstrating the use of Random Group Generator.   I would suggest creating one Notebook "lesson" for each classroom and saving it under the class name/period and "Random Group Generator" for easy future access.

SMART Response "Clickers"

Did you know......at the high school we actually have two classroom sets of "clickers"?   These SMART response tools can be used to quickly assess student understanding before, during, or after a lesson and increase student participation!   If you are interested in seeing how they can be used, please contact me via email:  ktharp@plymouth.k12.wi.us.

Elementary Music and Math Collaborate

Check out this link to a great elementary music and math lesson where students learn about notes and their values and practice adding them together.  Students work together as well as independently and help each other self-correct!   This lesson could also include ipads as an additional resource (but not necessary).   Lesson is linked to this site and ready to download with great instructions!   Have fun with this one!

Easier way to embed an Internet Browser!

Here is the newest way to embed a web page:
1.  Open a new page in Notebook Software.
2.  Click the Insert tab on the toolbar
3.  Click Internet Browser
4.  Type the site you want to view
5.  Click the blue pushpin so you always go directly to that page.
